UM Music presents a Guest Artist Recital: Avital Handler

Please join us as we welcome guest artist Avital Handler to the stage in Nutt Auditorium on Tuesday, September 29th. Ms. Avital Handler has been the Principal Tuba Player of the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon Le'zion, which is the orchestra of the Israel Opera House, since 2001. During her career, Ms. Handler has performed with all the major orchestras in Israel, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony, and The Raanna Symphoniette, among others. She has performed as a soloist with the Rishon Symphony, the Holon Chamber Orchestra, the Israel Chamber Orchestra, and The Tel-Aviv Soloists Ensemble. Ms. Handler’s solo recording, Tuba in the City, received wonderful reviews and great acclaim. This performance is free and open to the public.
