Mathematical Concept Progression Series: Addition & Subtraction

Addition & Subtraction Computational skills are foundational to students' mathematical learning. During this session, participants will investigate the development of addition and subtraction concepts in the early grades and examine how those foundational understandings extend to adding and subtracting fractions, integers, and polynomials. Participants will explore strategies for helping students recognize connections among these operations to build fluency, flexibility, and number sense. There are currently six unique sessions within this professional learning series. You may register for one or more sessions.
