This workshop provides an overview of map-making tools, ranging from simple to advanced. The session will begin with a brief introduction to essential mapping concepts, including geographic information systems (GIS) and geospatial data. Participants will then explore the key features of several mapping tools and view examples of the maps each tool can create. By the end of the session, participants will be better prepared to select a mapping tool that meets their needs. They will also have the opportunity to book a consultation to discuss their chosen tool and project in greater detail. No previous experience is required. Everyone is welcome. This workshop is free and open to the public.
