Beinecke Workshop

Join the Office of National Scholarship Advisement to learn more about the Beinecke Scholarship! Juniors are eligible to apply, but any interested student is encouraged to attend. The Beinecke Scholarship provides $35,000 toward graduate education for outstanding students pursuing a research-focused or creative master’s or doctoral degree in the arts, humanities, or social sciences. Up to 20 scholarships are awarded nationally each year. Applicants must be college juniors during the year they apply, be U.S. citizens or nationals, demonstrate a strong record of academic achievement and intellectual promise, and have a documented history of need-based financial aid. The scholarship requires institutional nomination/endorsement, meaning students must first compete for their university’s nomination before applying nationally.
